The AvenidA Mountain Lodges Kaprun Resort is located in the centre of Kaprun, only 500 m from numerous shops and chic bars, and excellent restaurants serving regional and international cuisine. The bus stop to the Kitzsteinhorn, Schmittenhöhe and Maiskogel as well as a supermarket is about 130 metres away. From here you can enjoy exciting excursions and various activities. Winter is all about the three top skiing areas, while tobogganing, ski touring, cross-country skiing and winter hiking are popular off-piste activities. In summer you can discover the beautiful mountain world while hiking or cycling. The crystal-clear lakes invite you to swim, and if you’re interested in culture, there are interesting museums and buildings in Kaprun, such as the vehicle museum, the Kaprun power plant and the medieval Kaprun Castle. A special natural spectacle in summer is the 320-metre-long Sigmund Thun Gorge in Kaprun.
